Overview

Groups Recover Together is always looking for Advanced Practice Nurses (NP/ APRN) to join our team as 1099 Providers in Florida!

Offering $100 an hour.

Minimum 5 hours weekly based on availability (M-F: evenings included)

Groups provides a validated, evidence-supported approach to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), recognized as the leading standard for addressing opiate use disorder by both the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Our aim is to empower our members to take back control of their lives through a holistic blend of therapy and medication.

Responsibilities

Nurse Practitioner/ Advance Practice Nurse (1099):

  • Aid in facilitating intake processes. Providers engage with patients subsequent to their comprehensive evaluation by counselors.
  • Supervise patients clinical advancement during routine group counseling sessions. These sessions are overseen by specialized counseling personnel, with providers contributing by addressing inquiries and overseeing medication dosages.
  • Grant approval for patients prescriptions during monthly appointments with patient panels.
  • Ensure timely completion of all documentation and reporting within Groups' EMR system as per stipulated timelines. Providers undergo thorough orientation and training on Clinical Protocols before commencing work with Groups.

We adhere to rigorous protocols that steer clinical decision-making. Additionally, we've crafted an innovative, technology-infused, team-centric clinical system designed to manage all aspects of daily patient care and ensure regulatory compliance. This setup enables physicians to dedicate their attention solely to medical management.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner/ Advance Practice Nurse (1099) Requirements:

  • Possession of an unrestricted State License (NP/APRN) in Florida.
  • Holding an active, individual DEA registration with an address registered in Florida.
  • Previous DEAX designation, previously necessary for prescribing Buprenorphine. Prior experience in prescribing within the MAT/SUD realm is advantageous; indirectly related experience is also considered.
  • Demonstration of active Board Certification (NP/APRN) in any specialty.
  • Availability to work in-person at one of our Florida facilities for a minimum of 5 hours per week.
