Overview

Groups Recover Together is always looking for Advanced Practice Nurses (NP/ APRN) to join our team as 1099 Providers in Florida

Offering $100 an hour

Minimum 5 hours weekly based on availability (M-F: evenings included).

Groups provides a tried-and-true, evidence-based approach of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), which is regarded as the gold standard for treating opiate use disorder by the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Association (SAMHSA). We help our members recover control of their life through a combination of treatment and medications.

Responsibilities

Nurse Practitioner/ Advance Practice Nurse (1099):

  • Assist in conducting intake procedures, engaging with patients post-counselor evaluation.
  • Monitor patients' clinical progress during group counseling sessions, with specialized staff overseeing the groups.
  • Answer questions and manage medication dosages during counseling sessions.
  • Authorize prescriptions during monthly patient panel visits.
  • Complete all documentation and reporting within Groups' EMR system within set timelines.
  • Receive full orientation and training on Clinical Protocols before starting work with Groups.

Additionally, we've engineered a distinctive clinical system driven by technology and teamwork, facilitating seamless day-to-day patient management and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. This framework allows physicians to dedicate their focus exclusively to medical management, enhancing overall efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner/ Advance Practice Nurse (1099) Requirements:

  • An active, unencumbered State License (NP/APRN) in Florida.
  • Possession of an active, individual DEA registration with an address listed in Florida.
  • Previous DEAX designation, formerly required for prescribing Buprenorphine. Experience in prescribing within the MAT/SUD realm is preferred; indirectly related experience will also be considered.
  • Proof of active Board Certification (NP/APRN) in any specialty.
  • Availability to work in-office at one of our Florida locations for a minimum of 5 hours per week.
