We accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and offer a sliding fee scale for uninsured or underinsured clients. Responsibilities

Our Counselors are essential members of the Groups Recover Together team.

At Groups, we are dedicated to challenging the industry standards and providing exceptional care to our members. If you have a passion for group therapy and counseling, we have an opportunity that may be perfect for you. As a Counselor, you will work with a cross-functional care team to provide holistic care to our members, emphasizing counseling, medication, and community support as the foundation for sustained recovery. Your expertise and knowledge will help transform the lives of our members, who will benefit greatly from your guidance and support. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Get actively involved in the treatment team and gain expertise in addiction and recovery to promote effective decision-making about the client's treatment, with assistance from our clinical experts.
• Strategically allocate your time and resources to effectively balance the demands of your caseload with the needs of your office and region, while also fostering your clinical growth.
• Conducting ten to twelve group therapy sessions weekly (for two to three sessions per day) that utilize our prescribed curriculum to enhance recovery abilities and create a sense of community among participants.
• Monitor the progress of your members through Core Milestones and client feedback in the form of NPS ratings.
• Actively seek ways to interact with community members and build trust and rapport
• Promote Groups and its mission by distributing flyers and other informative materials to relevant stakeholders in the community
• Take part in community meetings addressing substance abuse and addiction concerns

• Raise awareness about Groups and its mission by distributing written materials that describe the needs it serves and the benefits it provides to the community
• Joining with others in attending community meetings about substance abuse can help to build momentum and generate collective action around this important issue

Qualifications

• Eligibility for this opportunity is extended to graduate students who have identified mental and behavioral health as their area of special interest.
• Those with current or active supervision towards MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC level 1 & 2, LSPE, Licensed Psychologist/Psy.D. RN & LPN credentials are encouraged to apply for this position.
• Leading group therapy can be both challenging and rewarding, as it requires the facilitator to navigate complex emotions and hold space for group members' experiences.
• Expertise in using various modern technology solutions, such as EMR, telemedicine software, Google's suite of products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, and other digital tools.
• A philosophy founded upon empathy, working collaboratively to achieve optimal healthcare, and a commitment to member success.
• Capability to work up to 3 evenings weekly and be flexible to work until 9pm as per work demands.
• Other acceptable academic and professional backgrounds and abilities may include mental health, social work, substance use therapy, counseling, human services, social services, or medication assisted treatment or MAT.
