Groups Recover Together is always looking for Advanced Practice Nurses (NP/ APRN) to join our team as 1099 Providers in one of our Kentucky locations:

Ashland - Bardstown - Corbin - Erlanger - Frankfort - Georgetown - Hazard - Lexington - London - Louisville - Owensboro - Paducah - Pikeville - Pineville - Richmond - Somerset - Winchester

Offering $100 an hour

You must be able to commit to at least five hours of work per week, including weekday evenings, to be eligible for this position.

Groups method of combining therapy and medication in their opiate addiction treatment approach is proven to be effective by scientific research.

Responsibilities

Many Nurse Practitioners and Advance Practice Nurses are drawn to the 1099 status for the professional and personal freedom it provides, as well as the opportunity to provide much-needed healthcare services in their community:

• Intake Procedures with Support of a Counselor Help Providers Prioritize Care.
• Specialized counseling staff conducts regular group counseling sessions to evaluate patients' clinical progress. Providers participate by managing medication dosing and addressing patients' queries.
• Facilitate the dispensing of medications by approving prescription requests during regular monthly appointments.
• The Groups EMR system is the designated platform for all note-taking and reporting tasks

The clinical decision-making process relies on strict guidelines, and our distinctive clinical system is technology-based and team-driven, dealing with all aspects of patient care and regulatory compliance. This leaves physicians free to concentrate on providing medical management.

Qualifications

To practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Advance Practice Nurse (1099), one must be licensed as a registered nurse (RN) and then complete a nurse practitioner program:

• Licensure Validated for Unencumbered Practice as NP/ APRN in Kentucky.
• An individual DEA member who actively works in Kentucky and is identified by their address.
• Beforehand, individuals with DEAX accreditation were the only ones eligible to prescribe Buprenorphine. Aspirants with in-direct experience will have to satisfy their skills, but candidates with direct prescription history for SUD/MAT treatment will be preferred.
• Board Certification renewal is a mandatory requirement for healthcare providers to maintain their certification, which offers ongoing learning opportunities, quality improvement, and enhances their credibility in the medical community
• The successful candidate must be available to work at one of our Kentucky offices for at least 5 hours per week.
