Schedule: Monday & Tuesday 8a-6p, Wednesday & Thursday 10a-8p EST

Salary: $50,000 - $62,000 based on licensure and experience

Responsibilities

Counselors are crucial to the success and growth of Groups Recover Together, and they work tirelessly to help those in need.

If you're passionate about group therapy, this position as a Counselor is tailored for you. At Groups, we're dedicated to challenging conventional industry norms. You won't be solely responsible for all aspects of member care. Instead, you'll play a pivotal role in a collaborative care team alongside prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and office managers. Together, we aim to transform the lives of our members by providing a comprehensive clinical model centered on counseling, medication, and community support for long-term recovery. Key duties include, but are not restricted to:

• Participate diligently in the treatment team and gain a thorough understanding of addiction and recovery. Coordinate with our clinical professionals to make well-informed decisions about the member's therapy.
• Strive to manage your schedule and caseload in a manner that meets the demands of the office and region while furthering your clinical skill set.
• Facilitate ten to twelve 60-minute group therapy sessions every week, applying our well-planned curriculum to enhance members' recovery skills, whilst facilitating interaction and collaboration in building and sustaining a supportive community.
• Use Core Milestones and NPS scores to gauge client improvement and progress.
• Utilize a variety of communication channels, such as social media and email newsletters, to keep community members informed of updates and events relevant to their interests
• Promote Groups' vision among community stakeholders by providing them with brochures and written materials
• Participating in community gatherings focused on substance abuse and dependency can lead to necessary actions in addressing this issue

Qualifications

• The individuals who are actively overseeing the process of acquiring the MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC levels 1 and 2, LSPE and Licensed Psychologist/Psy.D. qualifications are acceptable. RN & LPN candidates are also suitable if they have experience leading therapeutic groups and the required documentation.
• The role of a group therapy leader is to facilitate conversations, encourage active participation, and provide guidance and feedback to participants.
• Versatile with Technology: Versatile and proficient in using multiple technologies like EMR, telehealth software, and Google products.
• Traits that embrace empathy, teamwork, excellence in healthcare, and an investment in the success of clients.
• The job may require employees to work up to three evening shifts per week, with shifts ending at 9pm as needed.
• Other acceptable credentials, expertise, and skills might include a background in mental wellness, social services, medication-assisted recovery or MAT, counseling, human services, and substance abuse therapy.
